Job summary

Equinix, Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager in the NYC metro to lead multiple data center projects from inception to handover. You will direct internal teams and external vendors, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery while managing budgets and contracts.

You will mentor junior staff, drive best-practice procurement, and coordinate with Design, Operations and IT/Network to meet project goals in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years experience in construction project management for data centers or similar environments.
• Must be able to be in the NYC metro office and on job sites at least 3 days per week.
• Strong understanding of MEP in mission critical environments.
• Proficiency with procurement methodologies and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple data center projects through all life cycle stages.
• Lead safety, standards and culture across project teams.
• Monitor progress, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee contracts, change orders, cost forecasts, and documentation.
• Direct internal and external project teams including Design, Procurement and Operations.
• Develop training programs and cross-functional knowledge sharing.
