Job summary
Auria is seeking a Sr Controls Engineer to join our North America Corporate Engineering Group. The role may be located at any US plant with up to 50% travel to North America Plants.
You will lead design, development, and integration of advanced controls systems for automotive flooring, acoustical, and other fiber-based solutions. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience as a Controls Engineer.
- Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC/HMI systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, update, and improve controls systems including robotics and PLC logic.
- Integrate machine networking for remote access, monitoring, and traceability.
- Ensure new equipment meets Auria and safety standards.
- Integrate barcode reading and OCR systems into equipment.
- Coordinate with management, engineering, and maintenance for upgrades.
- Self-learn new devices and controls as technology evolves.
- Manage timelines and costs for each project.
- Assist in identifying critical spares for equipment.
- Mentor and train plant controls engineers where applicable.
