Job summary

Carpenter Technology Corporation is seeking an Engineer III Controls to lead design, development and optimization of control systems across manufacturing processes. The role requires hands-on problem solving, system configuration, and collaboration with maintenance and end-users.

You will manage projects from initiation through commissioning, mentor teammates, and ensure safety and quality standards while delivering cost-effective automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in electrical engineering, computer science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in controls and automation industry.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems to meet production needs.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to the team.
• Configure and optimize systems for equipment and processes.
• Manage projects from start to finish including installation and commissioning.
