Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering /, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology.
• 4+ years manufacturing experience with HMI/SCADA systems programming: PLCs/HMIs/VFDs.
• Strong understanding of electrical design practices, machine/motion control, and schematics in CAD.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in problem solving and technical expertise for equipment issues.
• Design, modify, and implement automation and control systems (Allen Bradley PLCs).
• Mentor and train junior controls engineers.
• Manage scope of process improvement and capital projects.
• Interface with system integrators for integrated equipment delivery.
• Collaborate with other functions for troubleshooting and project completion.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
