Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead control system projects across manufacturing facilities. You will install new systems, upgrade existing ones, and optimize processes with expertise in PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.

The role requires hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and AVEVA/ArchestrA (Wonderware), plus .NET and SQL in Ethernet/IP environments. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering or related field
Proficient in PLC programming, HMI, SCADA, and electrical controls
Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI development, AVEVA/ArchestrA (Wonderware)
Experience with .NET programming, SQL Databases, and Ethernet/IP Communication
Open to 25% travel

Responsibilities

Develop, install, and commission control systems to optimize manufacturing processes and increase productivity.
Programming and integrating PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems for automated equipment.
Provide Controls and Automation Systems technical support to other company locations.
Design and selection of plant control system architecture (control panels, hardware, communication protocols, etc.).
Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
