Job summary

Camaco seeks a detail-oriented Controls Engineer to design, develop, and maintain control systems for automated machinery and production cells.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience in automation, proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and DCS, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Candidates will assess hardware/software, create architectures, and ensure safety/regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in control systems, automation, and instrumentation.
• Expertise with Allen-Bradley PLCs (SLC 500, CompactLogix, MicroLogix), SCADA, HMI, and DCS systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain control systems for automated machinery, robotics, and production cells.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of control systems and equipment.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support; diagnose and resolve system issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, software) to integrate control systems into larger projects.
