Job summary

Daifuku North America is seeking a senior electrical/controls engineer to design and integrate control systems for advanced material handling solutions. You will develop specifications, implement proofs of concept, and lead project teams from concept to manufacturing handoff.

The role requires hands-on experience with HMI/SCADA, PLCs from Allen-Bradley and Schneider, and CAD tools such as AutoCAD and EPlan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of related experience.
• Experience with industrial HMI and SCADA systems, Allen-Bradley controls and Schneider PLCs.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical or EPlan.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of control systems for industrial material handling solutions.
• Develop specifications, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure manufacturability and cost targets.
• Prepare control panel schematics and PLC programs.
• Provide direction and training to junior engineers.
