Job summary

Church & Dwight is seeking a Sr. Controls Engineer in York, PA to provide electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering support across design, assembly, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of PLC-based systems.

You will lead automation capital projects, drive continuous improvement in packaging and processing controls, and supervise the Instrumentation Controls Specialist in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• 4-year post-secondary degree in a relevant technical field.

Responsibilities

• Lead PLC-based control systems design, testing, and commissioning.
• Manage automation capital projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Provide plant electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering support.
• Supervise Instrumentation Controls Specialist.
• Uphold safety policies including NFPA 70E.
• Support Lean/Kaizen and CI initiatives.
• Develop training for operations and maintenance staff.
