Job summary

Senior Controls Engineer / Technical Controls Lead in Redmond, WA, on-site with minimal travel. Role centers on PLC and SCADA integration for construction and infrastructure projects.

You will lead hands-on control systems work, review designs, mentor engineers and support FAT/SAT, commissioning and startup activities while collaborating with contractors and customers. Relocation support is available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in PLC programming and controls integration for complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of Rockwell/Allen-Bradley ecosystems (ControlLogix, Studio 5000).
• Experience with SCADA/HMI systems and controls documentation.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior technical resource for a local controls engineering team.
• Remain hands-on with PLC, SCADA/HMI and systems integration.
• Review technical designs, programming and controls architecture.
• Support engineers with troubleshooting and complex technical issues.
• Help establish engineering standards and improve technical consistency.
• Support project scoping, estimating and technical planning.
• Work closely with construction teams, contractors and customers.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning and startup activities.
• Mentor engineers and gradually take greater ownership of technical leadership.
• Support continued growth of the Redmond controls team.
