I’m recruiting for a senior controls opportunity with an established systems integration business in Redmond, Washington.
The team is looking for someone with a strong PLC / SCADA controls background who understands how controls systems are applied on real construction and infrastructure projects.
This could suit an experienced Senior Controls Engineer, Systems Integrator or Controls Project Engineer who is ready to take the next step into technical leadership. Previous people-management experience is useful, but deep technical capability and relevant project experience are more important.
Strong experience with:
Ignition experience is highly desirable, but comparable SCADA expertise will also be considered.
The strongest backgrounds will come from controls projects within:
The local transit work includes controls for stations, heating and cooling, lighting, emergency tunnel systems, ventilation fans, air-quality monitoring and associated infrastructure systems.
You do not need to already be an experienced Controls Manager.
A technically strong Senior Controls Engineer who has led projects, mentored engineers or acted as the senior technical person on-site could be a very good fit.
The business can support the development of the management side — they need the technical resource first.
