Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Control Systems or Mechanical Engineering with extensive controls development experience.
• Strong background in model-based design and control theory.
• Experience leading small cross-disciplinary teams and delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 5-7 controls engineers to design robust high-quality on-time solutions.
• Provide technical oversight and ensure model-based design processes are followed.
• Lead initiatives to improve quality and efficiency through tech advancement.
• Capture requirements with system engineers and decompose them with traceability.
• Develop control architectures for PLC, RCP and HIL setups and drive testing.
• Automate testing frameworks to enable AI-driven savings.
• Analyze MIL results and support lab testing and fleet bug fixes.
