Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Systems Engineering professional in Charlotte, NC to translate product requirements into robust control system solutions. You will lead the delivery of the controls sub-system for new product development, and work closely with software teams to ensure timely, high-quality embedded systems.

The role requires 3+ years in embedded software/control design, with strong skills in model-based design (Simulink/ Matlab) and C/C++. Advanced degree and hardware experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with embedded software/control system design.
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC, automotive, aerospace, or white goods manufacturing or development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the controls sub-system of new product development programs, primarily through requirements elicitation and verification planning.
• Collaborate with software developers to ensure high quality embedded control systems are delivered on time.
• Develop and execute testing and qualification for software modules and control systems.
• Provide reliability analysis of components and systems.
• Coordinate engineering documents and releases.
