Job summary

Leoforce is seeking an experienced Controls & Automation Engineer to support and improve highly automated manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. You will program Allen-Bradley PLCs, troubleshoot controls systems, and collaborate with maintenance, production, quality, and integrators to improve uptime and reliability.

You will work with ControlLogix and Studio 5000, develop ladder logic, and support new equipment installations and startups.

Qualifications

4+ years in controls/automation manufacturing engineering.
Hands-on Allen-Bradley PLC programming experience.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

Program, modify, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC-controlled equipment.
Support ControlLogix systems using Studio 5000.
Diagnose PLC hardware, software, communication, and network issues.
Develop and optimize ladder logic and other PLC programming.
Troubleshoot HMIs, sensors, vision systems, VFDs, servos, remote I/O, and networking.
Support automated assembly equipment, robotics, and material handling systems.
Review electrical schematics and controls drawings.
Develop error-proofing and automated quality systems.
