Job summary

Stryten Energy is seeking a proactive Controls Engineer to design, implement, and support automation systems across production lines. You will work with PLCs, SCADA, and MES to optimize operations, troubleshoot issues, and lead automation projects end-to-end on site.

You will collaborate with multiple departments to improve safety, efficiency, and product quality while ensuring compliance with OSHA and industry standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Controls Engineering or a related field is required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of automation design experience with electronic circuitry and PLCs.
• Knowledge of design, repair, and analysis of machinery, electronics, PLCs, analog circuits, and simulation tools.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC, SCADA, RSLogix 5/500/5000, and HMI.

Responsibilities

• Produce control systems and programs that are safe, logical, and functional per scope of work.
• Provide controls engineering support to multiple departments as required.
• Analyze sketches, specs, and data to determine design factors.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade PLCs and automated processes.
• Build SCADA and MES solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency and drive process improvements.
• Coordinate technical developments, scheduling, and problem resolution in design/test.
