Responsibilities include developing control architectures, creating detailed electrical diagrams, and coordinating cross-functional teams during project execution.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years designing and programming custom industrial automation systems.
• Experience with NEC/NFPA 79 and RIA TR R15.06 electrical codes.
• Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley platforms required; others preferred.
• AutoCAD Electrical proficiency is required.
• Robot integration experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.

Aufgaben

• Design and program control architectures using PLCs and HMIs.
• Integrate robotics, vision systems, drives, and servo applications.
• Configure network interfaces (DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Profinet).
• Create electrical panel schematics and BOMs in AutoCAD Electrical.
• Develop pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams and I/O maps.
• Develop robot paths and offline programming for deploys.
• Lead engineering standards and reusable code libraries.
• Review customer specs and ensure hardware and logic meet requirements.
• Coordinate power-up, validation, and full system debugging on site.
• Provide on-site commissioning and client handover documentation.
• Conduct safety assessments and ensure safety compliance.
• Mentor entry-level controls engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
