Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to lead control and automation projects within the facility. You will install new systems and upgrade existing ones across our manufacturing sites.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on PLC/HMI/SCADA expertise, experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, and a willingness to travel up to 25%. We offer an excellent compensation package, profit sharing, yearly bonus, free benefits, and generous vacation time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering.
• Proficient in PLC programming, HMI, SCADA, and electrical controls.
• Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and Aveva ArchestrA.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop, install, and commission control systems to optimize manufacturing processes and increase productivity.
• Programming and integrating PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems for automated equipment.
• Provide Controls and Automation Systems technical support to other company locations.
• Design and selection of plant control system architecture (control panels, hardware, communication protocols, etc.).
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
