Job summary

Jobot in Tulsa, OK, seeks an experienced electrical controls engineer to lead the design and hands-on development of industrial process equipment, with high autonomy within a small, collaborative team.

You will bridge electrical design and controls engineering, program Allen-Bradley PLCs, troubleshoot systems, participate in commissioning, and help develop control narratives and I/O documentation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electrical controls, automation, industrial controls, or related engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs / ControlLogix / Studio 5000.
• Experience with FactoryTalk.
• Experience designing electrical control systems and/or control panels.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring, I/O, and instrumentation.
• Experience with industrial automation and process equipment.
• Ability to travel approximately 25%.
• Industrial/manufacturing/process environment experience preferred.

The engineering team is looking for an experienced professional who can bridge the gap between electrical design and hands-on controls engineering. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys designing the electrical/control architecture but also wants to program PLCs, troubleshoot systems, and participate in commissioning.
