Job summary

Jobot is actively seeking a Controls Engineer in the Pittsburgh area to design, develop, and support custom automation solutions for industrial and infrastructure applications. Responsibilities include creating electrical schematics, PLC/HMI programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting to improve system performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of controls engineering experience in manufacturing, plus 3+ years with Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs and FactoryTalk View

Qualifications

• BS in a related field is required or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years of controls engineering experience in industrial manufacturing.
• 3+ years of Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLC programming experience.
• FactoryTalk View HMI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support custom automation solutions from concept to implementation.
• Create control system designs, electrical schematics and PLC/HMI programs.
• Commissioning, troubleshooting and optimizing system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to improve equipment uptime.

We are a well-established industrial automation and controls integrator seeking a Controls Engineer to design, develop, and support custom automation solutions for a variety of industrial and infrastructure applications. This role involves creating control system designs from concept through implementation, including electrical schematics, PLC/HMI programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams to improve system performance and reliability.

Must have

• BS in a related field
• 3-5+ years of controls engineering experience in industrial manufacturing settings
