Job summary

W3Global is seeking an experienced Senior Controller to lead financial and accounting operations within a high-volume transportation and logistics environment. The role requires hands-on supervision of staff and collaboration with executives, auditors, and banking partners.

Colorado residency is required. The ideal candidate holds CPA/CMA credentials, 10+ years of corporate accounting, and proven experience in freight forwarding or related logistics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
• 3–5 years in a Controller or similar role managing financial operations of a $100–$300 million company.
• Experience in transportation/logistics or related field; freight forwarding preferred.
• Active CPA and/or CMA certification required.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all financial/accounting operations and internal controls.
• Lead month-end and year-end close cycles and GAAP reporting.
• Monitor banking relations, audits, and tax filings.
• Lead annual budgeting and multi-year projections.
• Develop and mentor the finance team; optimize workflows for growth.
