Job summary

Top Quality Recruitment (TQR) seeks a Senior Controller to lead accounting operations and report on financial results. This role partners with ownership and senior management to drive strategic financial planning and internal controls.

The Sr. Controller will oversee A/P, A/R, payroll, cash forecasting, bank reconciliations, and monthly to annual reporting under GAAP or IFRS, while mentoring staff, implementing policies, and collaborating with HR on benefit programs and with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration is required.
• Ten years or more of related experience is required.
• CPA or CMA designation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounting Department operations including A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, cash forecasting, and payroll.
• Oversee training programs and identify training needs; mentor staff.
• Provide performance evaluations and coaching; support HR with benefits decisions.
• Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting under GAAP/IFRS and maintain accounting policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist with annual audit.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements; manage cash forecasting and collections as needed.
