A new opening is available for a Controller in Maumee, OH to support projects and financial operations. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will lead day-to-day accounting, own month‑end close, GAAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA & MBA preferred.
• 10-15 years accounting experience with 7-10 years as a Controller.
• AEC industry background preferred and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Deltek experience required; Workday Adaptive Planning OfficeConnect experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations (GL, AP/AR, payroll, WIP, fixed assets).
• Own month-end close, internal financial reporting and GAAP compliance.
• Oversee project-based revenue recognition (ASC 606) and audits.
• Manage annual FAR overhead rate audit and rate submissions with state DOTs.
• Oversee annual financial audit and assist in budgeting/forecasting.
• Support cash flow management and drive process improvements; develop accounting team.
