Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations in Maumee, OH. This leader will ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in adherence to GAAP and SEC requirements, working with external auditors and the Investor Relations team.

Responsibilities include directing monthly closes, internal controls, and producing materials for Audit Committee and senior leadership. A CPA with 7–10 years of relevant experience is preferred, guiding a team of accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA certification required or in process.
• 7–10 years of relevant accounting/financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct accounting operations to ensure timely, accurate financial information.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and internal controls.
• Oversee external financial reporting and coordination with auditors.
• Support investor relations with financial messaging and materials.
• Present materials for Audit Committee and executive leadership.
• Manage staff and coordinate with business units for policy implementation.
