Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a dynamic Controller with 5+ years of accounting leadership to drive financial strategy in the Mortgage industry. You will manage job costing, billing, cash flow, and P&L, leveraging Sage Intacct for inventory and labor-trend analysis.

Lead a growing accounting team and ensure GAAP-compliant reporting. The role emphasizes strategic planning, financial statements, year-end close, and cross-functional collaboration with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Mortgage industry experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and other financial management software.
• Strong knowledge of job costing, billing, cash flow management, and aging reports.
• Experience in HVAC MEP and labor trends.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Managing organizational cash flow and forecasting; directs all financial, project-based, and departmental accounting.
• Coordinating all audit activity and year-end close process.
• Present financial reports monthly, quarterly and annually; communicate status to senior leadership.
• Implementing job costing and billing procedures to maximize profitability.
• Utilizing Sage Intacct for inventory accounting and monitoring labor trends.
• Leading training and development of the accounting team.
• Managing invested assets in line with policies.
• Overseeing HVAC MEP to ensure financial efficiency.
