Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a hands‑on Financial Controller to oversee key accounting operations and partner with the CFO in leading the financial function. You will supervise a small accounting team while owning core accounting processes, financial reporting, and operational analysis.

The role emphasizes month-end close, journal entries, and compliance with GAAP, with opportunities to improve processes and ERP workflows in a premium consumer products environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–10+ years of accounting/management experience.
• Experience leading accounting teams.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• ERP experience required (QuickBooks and/or Dynamics 365 BC preferred).
• Experience in consumer products/retail/manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Supervise AP, AR, payroll, and general accounting functions.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and GL transactions.
• Assist with GAAP-compliant monthly/quarterly/annual reporting.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, budgeting activity, and variances.
• Support sales tax reporting and compliance initiatives.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting docs.
• Develop reporting tools to support operational decision‑making.
• Partner with leadership on process improvements and financial initiatives.
• Support ERP systems and identify workflow optimization opportunities.
