Job summary

Nusano is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting function at its West Valley City, Utah headquarters. The role reports to the Head of Finance and will start with two direct reports, with plans to grow the department to support company expansion.

The Controller will oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and equity, driving month-end close, financial governance, and system improvements across ERP and finance platforms in a lean, regulated manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with professional designation preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth, complex organizations.
• Experience leading external audits and managing auditor relationships and outcomes.
• Experience designing and improving ERP/financial systems for scalability and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting functions end-to-end across GL, AP, AR, payroll, treasury, and cost accounting.
• Oversee month-end close, three-statement reporting, and variance analysis for management review.
• Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance, with strong internal controls.
