Job summary

Nusano, based in West Valley City, Utah, seeks a senior Controller to lead the accounting function onsite. The role will manage GAAP accounting, month-end close, audits, and regulatory compliance while shaping ERP systems for scalability and strong governance.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Controller will grow the team, oversee AP/AR, payroll, and equity, and collaborate across FP&A, legal, HR, and operations to safeguard financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA/CMA preferred).
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth, complex environments.
• Experience leading external audits and auditor relationships.
• Ability to build and mature accounting functions (AP, AR, Payroll, close).
• Experience designing, implementing, improving ERP/financial systems for scalability.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606/718, in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accounting function with accurate, timely reporting across entities and jurisdictions.
• Oversee General Ledger, AP, AR, Payroll, Treasury, cost accounting and internal controls.
• Manage month-end and year-end close, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Ensure regulatory reporting, audit readiness, and regulatory reviews.
• Partner with FP&A, legal, HR, and ops; oversee equity accounting and consolidation.
• Drive ERP and financial system improvements for scalability and data integrity.
