Job summary

Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) is a Denver-based sports and entertainment holding company. The Controller, Holdings will oversee day-to-day accounting for the holdings, close books monthly, and develop policies and controls to support financial reporting.

Leading a team of accountants, you will manage budgeting, intercompany activity, and annual tax data gathering, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in a fast-paced environment. Base salary targeted $120k–$140k, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years’ experience in corporate accounting with 3+ years managing direct reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Experience with Great Plains and strong Excel/MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for all assigned entities and month-end close.
• Lead annual budgeting and coordinate reforecasting with department heads and senior management.
• Oversee intercompany activity, consolidation reporting, and tax data gathering.
• Supervise, train and develop accounting staff; communicate findings to leadership.
