Job summary

Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager for the OSG Publishing unit. The role supports month-end close, ensures accurate financial reporting under the Controller, and provides first-level analysis of statements.

You will supervise the OSG Publishing Accounting team, prepare and review monthly journal entries, assist in budgeting, and contribute to management reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• 5-7+ years of demonstrated accounting experience, with 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office software programs, with advanced Excel skills.
• Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
• Public accounting experience a plus.
• Master’s Degree in Accounting, CPA or CPA-track a plus.
• Demonstrated management experience of a team of accountants a plus.
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervisory duties of the OSG Publishing Accounting team.
• Prepare, record and analyze monthly journal entries and reports, as assigned.
• Review journal entries and monthly reporting prepared by the OSG Publishing Accounting team.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements and management reports upon completion of close responsibilities.
• Assist in developing accounting policy and procedures and administer approved accounting procedures.
• Assist Controller in preparation and review of the annual Publishing budget.
• Support monthly and quarterly sales commission processes.
• Review account reconciliations and research reconciling items timely.
• Prepare ad-hoc reporting, as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
