Greenbrook Medical is a growing primary care platform seeking a hands-on Controller to own the end-to-end accounting function and build scalable financial controls. You will lead close, reporting, tax and compliance, and partner with executives to enable rapid growth across multi-clinic operations.

Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will design scalable processes, manage external partners, and ensure timely, accurate information for strategic decisions.

Formación

• 8-12 years accounting and financial operations experience across corporate or multi-entity environments.
• 3-5 years owning core accounting functions including close, financial reporting, audits, reconciliations, tax compliance, and financial controls.
• Experience managing outsourced finance partners while maintaining internal accountability.
• Strong technical accounting skills with a track record of improving accuracy and efficiency.
• Experience building and improving processes, systems, and controls during growth.
• Experience with ERP and related finance tools; ability to implement or optimize.
• Clear communication across the organization with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close process including journals and reconcilations.
• Own general ledger, balance sheet, and financial reporting across entities.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies per GAAP for complex transactions.
• Own revenue accounting and reconciliations for payer arrangements and claims liabilities.
• Manage external accounting and bookkeeping partners while retaining internal accountability.
• Design and maintain scalable accounting processes, internal controls, and policies.
• Oversee AP, procure-to-pay, cash accounting, payroll accounting, and related balance sheet processes.
• Partner on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with leadership.
• Own tax compliance, audits, and year-round audit readiness; coordinate with external advisors.
• Support growth initiatives and multi-entity accounting complexity.
