Job summary

Greenbrook Medical is seeking a Controller to own end-to-end accounting and build a scalable financial foundation for growth. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will lead close, reporting, tax, compliance, and internal controls across a fast-growing multi-clinic organization.

You will design scalable processes, systems, internal controls, and policies, while partnering across teams to deliver accurate, timely financial information for decision-making.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of accounting experience across corporate or multi-entity environments.
• 3–5 years owning core accounting functions including close, financial reporting, audits, reconciliations, tax compliance, and financial controls.
• Experience managing outsourced finance partners while maintaining internal accountability.
• CPA or equivalent public accounting experience is a plus.
• Healthcare, value-based care, or MSO-PC experience is a plus.
• Hands-on builder with strong process design and systems improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own the full monthly, quarterly, and annual close process with journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and financial statements.
• Own the general ledger, balance sheet and financial reporting across entities.
• Establish and maintain GAAP-compliant accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage tax compliance, filings, and external tax advisors.
• Lead scalability of accounting systems and controls while partnering with finance leadership.
