Job summary

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of accounting/finance experience with three years in supervision.
• Strong accounting knowledge across cost, revenue, and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP/financial systems (Ellucian/Datatel) preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Budget Development/Management and Reporting: assist CFO with annual budget processes, prepare working budgets, monitor fund balances, and assist with capital planning.
• Grants: oversee accounting, budget compliance, and reporting for college grant activity; manage indirect cost rate and audits.
• College Accounting: support implementation of college software systems, prepare financial reports, ensure year-end DOE reporting, maintain regulatory compliance.
• College Risk Management: coordinate insurance program renewals and manage risk reporting.
