Job summary

You will oversee the accounting close, regulatory reporting, and internal controls while partnering with executive leadership to drive strategic decisions.

The role requires CPA licensure and 10-15 years of progressive accounting or finance experience in a regulated industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field.
• 10-15 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including significant leadership experience.
• CPA license required.

Responsibilities

• Leads the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close and ensures the integrity of the company’s general ledger and financial records.
• Oversees preparation and filing of statutory and GAAP financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Coordinates annual external audits, internal audits, and periodic regulatory examinations.
• Oversees financial analysis, management reporting, and variance analysis against budget.
• Advises executive leadership on accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory implications of business decisions.
• Partners with AVP, Operations & Treasury to ensure alignment of accounting with treasury, billing, receivables, and cash management.
