FlyBox is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations, ensuring accurate US GAAP financial reporting, and robust internal controls. This hands-on leadership role oversees monthly close, consolidations, audits, and collaboration with external advisors to support growth and operational stability.

The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS/MS in Accounting, 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including private-company close leadership, and strong proficiency with ERP systems such as

• BA/BS/MS in Accounting.
• 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership of the monthly close.
• Experience in a private company with revenues exceeding $50M.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with consolidation and acquisition accounting.
• Experience with enterprise ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central and NetSuite).
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and team development experience.
• Commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analyses
• Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Develop, document, and maintain accounting policies and procedures
• Draft technical accounting memoranda for complex transactions
• Oversee acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocations and integration activities
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit outcomes
• Partner with tax and accounting advisors on technical matters as needed
• Improve accounting systems, workflows, and ERP functionality
• Monitor compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for the accounting team
