LFG in Menlo Park, CA is seeking a Lead Controller to run accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of the company’s books. You will lead the financial close, financial reporting, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.

Qualifications include an active CPA, 5+ years in accounting with at least 3 years as a lead controller, hands-on ERP experience (NetSuite or similar), and prior involvement with financial statement audits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years as a lead controller.
• Active CPA license.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP such as NetSuite or similar.
• Experience leading or conducting financial statement audits.
• Bonus: experience with construction-in-progress, fixed assets and lease accounting.

Responsabilités

• Lead financial close and financial reporting (US GAAP and cash)
• Design and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
• Coordinate the annual audit and tax filings with outside firms
• Maintain company chart of accounts and lead improvements to the accounting system (ERP)
• Review account reconciliations and resolve technical accounting issues
