Formación

• BA/BS/MS in Accounting required.
• 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership of the monthly close.
• Experience in a private company with revenues exceeding $50M.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; consolidation and acquisition accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical capabilities.
• Experience with enterprise ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central and NetSuite a plus).
• Ability to prepare technical accounting memoranda; meet deadlines; interact with auditors and consultants.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses.
• Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements under U.S. GAAP.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies.
• Draft technical accounting memoranda for complex transactions.
• Oversee acquisition accounting including PPA and integrations.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audits.
• Partner with tax/accounting advisors on technical matters as needed.
• Improve accounting systems, workflows, and ERP functionality.
• Provide leadership and performance management for the accounting team.
• Lead special projects supporting efficiency and growth.

FlyBox is hiring a Controller to lead and manage the Company’s accounting operations, ensuring a disciplined, efficient, and reliable financial reporting process. This role is responsible for overseeing the monthly close, maintaining strong internal controls, and delivering accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a structured, deadline-driven environment. The Controller will drive consistency, accountability, and process rigor across the accounting function while continuously improving systems and workflows to support the company’s growth and operational stability.

The Controller will oversee the accounting team and work closely with brand leaders and external advisors to ensure financial integrity and operational excellence.

The Controller's Responsibilities include

• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analyses
• Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Develop, document, and maintain accounting policies and procedures
• Draft technical accounting memoranda for complex transactions
• Oversee acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocations and integration activities
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit outcomes
• Partner with tax and accounting advisors on technical matters as needed
• Improve accounting systems, workflows, and ERP functionality (Microsoft Business Central and NetSuite experience a plus)
• Monitor compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for the accounting team
• Lead or contribute to special projects that support operational efficiency and company growth

To be successful at SANDOW

• BA/BS/MS in Accounting
• 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership of the monthly close
• Experience in a private company with revenues exceeding $50M
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience with consolidation and acquisition accounting
• Ability to prepare technical accounting memoranda
