Engineered Cooling Services (ECS) is seeking a highly skilled Controller to lead accounting operations, ensure GAAP‑compliant reporting, and strengthen internal controls. The role oversees general ledger, payroll, job costing, tax coordination, and audits under the CFO, supporting executive decision making.

Based in the southeast and serving the region, ECS offers training, competitive benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of internal controls.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Microsoft GP, Wennsoft, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• High integrity and ethical standards.

Responsabilités

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process.
• Prepare timely and GAAP‑compliant financial statements.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and adjusting entries.
• Analyze monthly financial results and consolidate entities.
• Manage the general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Supervise fixed asset accounting and depreciation.
• Coordinate audits and assist with tax filings.
