Job summary

The Rivett Group is seeking a seasoned Controller to provide comprehensive financial updates to senior management by evaluating, analyzing and reporting key data points. You will guide financial decisions by applying company policies to the current economic landscape and help develop and support short- and long-term operation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, budgets and actual expenditures.
• Set benchmarks, budgets, monitoring and reporting standards bi-weekly, monthly and annually in coordination with CAO.
• Implement consistent accounting policies across programs while complying with laws.
• Assist in preparation and review of federal and state income taxes for multiple entities and IRS submissions.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to protect company assets and workflows.
• Oversee and support the accounting team with leadership that fosters trust and productivity.
• Ensure regulations and compliance reporting are followed.
• Assist with financial project management and banking data analysis.
