Job summary

Evolving Solution Services is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting operations, including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and monthly reporting. The role emphasizes internal controls, staff leadership, and collaboration with auditors.

The Controller will oversee budgeting, financial analysis for pricing decisions, and training programs, while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. A strong background in accounting software and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
• CPA or CMA designation highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the accounting operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly reporting.
• Implement internal control policies and procedures for all financial activities.
• Oversee training programs and identify training needs.
• Produce monthly financial reports in accordance with GAAP or financial reporting standards.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget and forecasts; report significant budget differences to management.
• Collaborate with HR on payroll standardization and compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors to provide information for annual audits.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Hire, develop, and evaluate accounting staff; oversee performance reviews.
• Provide pricing analysis and support for contract negotiations.
