Job summary

The Rivett Group is seeking a Controller to provide comprehensive financial updates to senior managers, evaluating and reporting data to guide decisions. You will implement controls, monitor budgets, and support long-term operation strategies.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting or related field with 5+ years in senior accounting or finance leadership and CPA is a plus. Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or related field required.
• Five or more years as a senior accounting or finance manager.
• Five+ years of business tax preparation experience.
• Professional certification (CPA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal safeguards for revenue, costs and budgets.
• Establish benchmarks, budgets, monitoring and reports on a bi-weekly to annual cycle.
• Implement consistent accounting policies across programs and ensure compliance.
• Assist in preparation of federal and state income taxes for multiple entities.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to protect assets and workflows.
• Lead and support the accounting team to ensure productivity.
• Ensure regulatory reporting and compliance are followed.
• Assist with financial project management and banking data analysis.
• Understand banking processes and financial data reporting.
