Job summary

Ross Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Finance/Accounting leader to maintain accurate books for the company and client entities. You will oversee reporting, budgeting, and internal controls while guiding a team and partnering with auditors for year-end statements.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, 8+ years in accounting/finance and a track record in managerial responsibilities. Excellent communication and problem-solving are essential for collaboration with management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; MBA/CPA preferred.
• Eight+ years of professional accounting/finance experience, with at least five in a managerial role.
• Experience in a privately held corporate environment strongly preferred.
• Excellent GAAP knowledge; taxation principles a plus.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, project management and problem-solving skills; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate books and records for the company and client companies.
• Produce required financial reports, pro formas, and analyses timely and accurately.
• Maintain internal controls to protect assets and ensure corporate separateness.
• Lead budgeting process, monitor and guide budget management.
• Provide leadership and development for staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with independent accountants for year-end financial statements and tax filings.
• Develop and implement cost control measures without compromising compliance.
• Communicate and present information effectively to management and stakeholders.
