SBH Career is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee and maintain accurate financial records across multiple lines of business in a fast-paced environment. The role supports senior leadership and requires strong analytical and organizational skills.

Key duties include monthly and quarterly financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and cash flow planning. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting and a meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant accounting or Controller experience.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting and GAAP.
• Experience preparing financial statements and reconciliations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements for the company’s various businesses.
• Prepare quarterly financial statements for banks, including loan covenant analysis.
• Prepare and record monthly journal entries, including prepaid amortization, allocations, invoice accruals, and other adjusting entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules by analyzing general ledger transactions.
• Record and reconcile e-commerce and credit card transactions.
• Reconcile bottle deposits and TOMRA transactions.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Record and reconcile inventory.
• Prepare financial reports for third parties, including licensors and sponsorships, as well as reports for management.
• Provide financial and administrative support to the CFO and CEO.
• Assist with planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow forecasting to support business operations.
• Provide accounting and reporting support for additional business ventures as needed.
