Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA designation preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
• Experience overseeing or coordinating accounting staff is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage core accounting activities including transaction processing, billing, payments, GL maintenance and reconciliations.
• Oversee a small accounting team, providing guidance and ensuring work is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Monitor cash positions and forecast funding needs to support operations.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports and supporting schedules.
• Evaluate financial results, budgets and projections to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain accounting procedures and controls to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
