Jobot is seeking a seasoned Controller for the drilling industry in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will lead all financial management, reporting, budgeting, and internal controls, ensuring profitability and regulatory compliance.

With 5+ years in a similar role, you will drive strategic financial planning, risk management, and collaboration with auditors and executives to support growth and financial stability.

Qualifications

• Experience: minimum 5 years in a controller role in construction/related industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, cost control.
• Proficient with financial software and MS Excel.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to lead audits and interact with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting.
• Develop financial strategies, internal controls and processes.
• Cost control to ensure project profitability.
• Lead risk management and audit processes.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Direct accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare reports for board, stakeholders and executives.
