Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience; Controller, Accounting Manager, or senior-level accounting experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the company’s general ledger and accounting records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes and review journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and classifications.
• Maintain effective internal controls and documentation; ensure proper segregation of duties.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support management decisions.
• Coordinate with outside accountants, auditors, and tax professionals for audits and compliance.
• Oversee daily accounting department operations and develop the team for efficiency.
