The Purpose of this position is to oversee the accounting functions and staff, providing financial reporting to management and external concerns. The role requires directing daily accounting activities, leading the monthly and year-end close, and managing job costing and WIP with project managers and estimators.

• Public and corporate accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the accounting department and staff.
• Oversee daily accounting and cash management activities.
• Manage monthly and year-end close and financial reporting.
• Oversee construction job costing and Work-In-Progress reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial planning, budgeting, and forecasts.
• Manage banking relationships and financing needs.
• Coordinate tax, regulatory, and inventory processes.
• Prepare for external accounting needs and maintain external relationships.
