Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC in the United States seeks a seasoned Control Systems Project Engineer to lead complex, large-scale control system projects, provide engineering support, and assume responsibility for project outcomes. Ideal candidates have a BS in engineering or CS, 7+ years total experience, and a proven track record as a project engineer.

You will mentor staff, design IT networks for control systems, read P&ID and wiring diagrams, and ensure QMS compliance.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, CS or related field with relevant experience.
• Typically 7+ years total experience.
• Proven track record as Control Systems Project Engineer I or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor teams during start-up and commissioning.
• Read piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams accurately.
• Apply HMI/PLC knowledge across projects and ensure QMS adherence.
• Lead IT/system design for control system integration and distributed HMI.
• Manage projects to schedule and budget while meeting customer needs.
