Job summary

Thermo Systems is seeking a seasoned Control Systems Project Engineer II to lead complex automation initiatives across multiple markets. You will supervise startup and commissioning, interpret P&ID and wiring diagrams, and specify instrumentation for sophisticated control systems.

Responsibilities include IT system design for control integration, distributed HMI development, and maintaining strong customer communications while guiding projects on schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• 7+ years total experience in control systems engineering.
• 3+ years as Control Systems Project Engineer I or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor co-workers during start-up and commissioning of systems.
• Read and interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams.
• Provide instrumentation specifications for complex control systems.
• Lead design of IT systems, network infrastructure, and computer system designs for control system integration.
• Independently design distributed HMI systems.
• Communicate with customers and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
