Job summary

GrayMatter is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our Building Automation Services team. You will manage control systems projects, coordinate between mechanical, electrical, and controls disciplines, and develop commissioning procedures.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, a relevant degree, and strong PLC/SCADA skills. Occasional travel and a focus on precise, reliable systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in control systems engineering.
• Strong PLC programming and SCADA experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform GrayMatter services for data center, power generation, and manufacturing controls.
• Design, develop and implement solutions to meet project goals.
• Lead integration among mechanical, electrical and controls systems.
• Lead commissioning, testing scripts, and documentation validation.
• Consult with and train end users on new applications.
• Travel up to 50% as needed.
