GrayMatter in the United States is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to manage industrial automation projects with a disciplined, detail‑oriented approach. You will translate client needs into robust control solutions, from design through commissioning.

Responsibilities include PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider), electrical schematics, and on‑site pilots, FAT/SAT tests, and user training. Travel up to 50% is required. Compensation targets range from $100,000 to $150,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in EE, EET, ME, MET or comparable.
• 4+ years PLC programming and control systems experience.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Excellent customer service attitude.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Perform GrayMatter services to meet client needs focused on Control Systems.
• Design, develop and implement solutions to resolve customer issues.
• Consult with and train end users on new applications.
• Assist in project development and planning.
• Perform onsite pilots, FAT testing, SAT testing, and demos as needed.
• The position is local; it can be remote with up to 50% travel.
