GrayMatter in Tulsa, OK seeks a Control Systems Engineer to join Building Automation Services. You will design, develop, and implement control solutions, coordinating mechanical, electrical, and controls teams to ensure seamless operation across platforms.

The role requires 4+ years of related experience with PLCs and Ignition, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative approach aligned with GrayMatter’s values. Occasional travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant working experience with control systems in data center, power gen, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with PLCs (Schneider Modicon, Allen-Bradley, CompactLogix, ControlLogix, Siemens).
• Experience with Ignition or similar SCADA systems.
• Electrical schematics, power distribution, water/cooling systems familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform GrayMatter services focusing on control systems for data centers, power gen, and manufacturing.
• Design, develop and implement solutions to meet project goals.
• Lead integration between mechanical, electrical, and controls systems across platforms.
• Lead commissioning procedures, test scripts, and documentation validation.
• Consult with and train end users on new applications.
• Assist in project development and planning.
• Position may require up to 50% travel annually.
